2007 Cadillac Escalade 6.2L AWD 4dr Cat-Back Single Exhaust Installation Instructions

2007 Cadillac Escalade 6.2L AWD 4dr Cat-Back Single Exhaust Installation Instructions

When installing this exhaust system make sure to use proper safety precautions. Use jack stands when working under the vehicle, set parking brake, block tires and use safety glasses and gloves. Allow exhaust to cool before attempting installation. Severe injury or burns could occur if safety measures are not taken.

SUGGESTED TOOLS: 1/2″, 9/16″, 15mm wrenches & sockets, WD-40, hacksaw, jack stands

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable before removal of OEM exhaust. This will allow the computer to reset and recognize the new exhaust. Lay out the exhaust on the floor so it looks like the drawing and compare parts with manual.
2. To remove the stock exhaust, unbolt it at the 2-bolt flange located in front of the muffler. Disengage the welded hangers using WD-40 from the OEM rubber grommets. Do not damage stock nuts and bolts or remove the rubber grommets as you will re-use them to mount your new system. Now, cut off tailpipe and remove exhaust.
3. Install head pipe #A onto your existing stock flange and attach using the stock hardware. DO NOT TIGHTEN. Insert welded hanger into rubber grommet.
4. Install muffler #B onto head pipe 1―”-2” with the louvers facing towards the converter. Use a jack stand to support the muffler. Use clamp #F to secure the muffler to the headpipe. DO NOT TIGHTEN. Muffler inlet is looking into louvers.
6. Install tailpipe #C into muffler 1―-2” and secure with clamp #F. DO NOT TIGHTEN. Insert welded hanger into rubber grommet.
7. Install exit pipe #D into the tailpipe 1―-2” and secure with clamp #F. DO NOT TIGHTEN. Rotate pipe to best suit your vehicle.
8. Install stainless steel tip. Clamp down. When you have everything in place, firmly tighten all bolts and clamps down securely. Use stainless steel cleaner and a Scotch Brite pad weekly to prevent tip from discoloration. Inspect all fasteners after 25-50 miles of operation and re-tighten as necessary.

2004-2005 Cadillac CTS-V Magna Charger GM 5.7 Liter Engine Installation

2004-2005 Cadillac CTS-V Magna Charger GM 5.7 Liter Engine Installation

Please take a few moments to review this manual thoroughly before you begin work: Μake quick parts check to make certain your kit is complete (see shipper parts list in this package). If you discover shipping damage or shortage, please call our office immediately. Take a look at exactly what you are going to need in terms of tools, time, and experience. Review our limited warranty with care.

When unpacking the supercharger kit DO NOT lift the supercharger assembly by the black plastic bypass actuator. This is pre-set from the factory and can be altered if used as a lifting point!

Caution: Relieve the fuel system pressure before servicing fuel system components in order to reduce the risk of fire and personal injury. After relieving the system pressure, a small amount of fuel may be released when servicing the fuel lines or connections. In order to reduce the risk of personal injury, cover the regulator and fuel line fittings with a shop towel before disconnecting. This will catch any fuel that may leak out. Place the towel in an approved container when the job is complete. Use only premium fuel, 91 octane or better.

Magna Charger systems are manufactured to produce about 20 RWHP per pound of boost at sea level. High altitudes will produce different numbers. Our Magna Charger kits are designed for engines in good mechanical condition only. Installation on high mileage or damaged engines is not recommended and may result in engine failure, for which we are not responsible. Magna Charger is not responsible for the engine or consequential damages.

Aftermarket engine recalibration devices that modify fuel and spark curve (including, but not limited to programmers) are not recommended and may cause engine damage or failure. Use of non-Magna Charger approved programming will void all warranties. If you have any questions, call us. After you finish your installation and road test your vehicle, please fill out and mail in the limited warranty card, so we can add you to our files (this is important for your protection).

Cadillac Fleetwood 85-93 Radio Install

Cadillac Fleetwood 85-93 Radio Install

Parts Needed For This Radio Install Parts REQUIRED for the install Description Dash installation kit Multi purpose General Motors Snap on in dash wire harness General Motors 1978 - 1988 You will need one antenna extension cable. Typical lengths: 6”, 1 ft, 3 ft 4 small washers

TOOL TIPS:
Small Battery: use a battery to test speaker wires. Touching the (+) positive and (-) negative baterry leads to a pair of speaker will cause the speaker to make a “Pop” sound indicating that pair of wires goes to that speaker. Voltage Meter: Always check +12 Volt power wires for voltage before making wire connections. These wires will fluctuate between 10 and 14 Volts. Solder Iron or Crimp Tool: make wire to wire connections using either a solder iron and electrical tape, OR plastic crimp terminals found at most hardware or auto parts stores.

STEP 1:
Locate and remove two (2) phillips screws that secure the top of the plastic panel that surrounds the radio. The plastic dash panel will pull off once the screws are removed as shown in the photo above.
STEP 2:
The front of the radio is held in with two (2) 7mm bolt screws at the top of the radio. Remove the 2 bolt screws.
STEP 3:
There is a hidden radio that secures the rear of the radio and is located under the radio. Pull the ashtray to its extended position. You will need to lay on your back or side and look behind the ashtray, up to the bottom of the radio.
STEP 4:
Once the ashtray has been pull to its extended position, you should be able to locate and remove one (1) 7mm bolt screw as seen in the photo above.
STEP 5:
Once all screws have been removed, the radio can then be removed. Pull firmly on the radio to remove it from the dash. The radio will most likely resist pulling from the dash. The antenna cable which plugs into the rear of the radio is very short and gives the radio resistance when trying to pull the radio out of the dash. Continue to pull firmly and the antenna cable will unplug itself as the radio is pulled from the dash.
