Former Installer of the Year Sean Young from Sound Decision in Montgomery, Ill., sent in these images and instructions on how to take scrap you have lying around and turn it into profit dollars while wowing your customer. If you do any custom work at all, you probably have most of the materials needed for this project in a scrap bin.
The only thing that you may not have as scrap is neon tubing. The following takes a little over an hour and can add about $150 to your bottom line, and also allows you to stand out from the crowd of regular installers. This installation was performed in an Escalade, but it can be adapted and used anywhere.
