2005-2008 Ford Mustang GT 4.6L V8 Installation Instructions
Start by disconnecting the wire harness from the MAF sensor as shown.
Next loosen the hose clamp on the stock air tube to the air box as shown.
Remove the stock air tube from the stock air box as shown.
Remove the bolt that holds the stock air box in place and set aside for reuse with the MAC system.
Remove the stock air box by pulling it straight up as shown.
Remove the two rubber grommets from the air box as shown and reinstall them into the stock location.
Using the T20 torques head supplied in the kit, remove the MAF sensor and set aside for reuse with the MAC air system.
Install the two support posts to the bottom of the MAC air chamber as shown. Note:The spacer will be mounted to the rear post.
Install the two brackets onto the MAC air chamber as shown. Note:The “L” shaped bracket will be mounted to the out side of the air chamber.
Install the MAC air chamber into the stock location and bolt it in using the stock bolt and hardware provided as shown.
Install the MAF sensor to the MAC mass air meter using the hardware provided.
Note Do Not use the stock hardware on the MAC mass air.
Install the MAC mass air meter through the air chamber to the velocity adaptor using the hardware provided
