2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R GReddy E-Manage Install
Here are the pictures of the Main Unit and of the Ignition and Injector Harnesses. I will add the GReddy E-O1 and the pressure sensor later. The Main unit is pretty small. This should allow me to easily fit the unit into the glove box for easy access.
With the Injector harness, I will be able to add to the pulse width on the injector pulse, if I run out of room on the stock MAF. In addition, the harness adds the ability to control two additional injectors or other devices. I am going to use the two additional injector outputs to control 1) a two-step rev limiter and 2) my water injection.
With the Ignition harness, I will be able to control my timing. It will allow me to either advance or retard my timing, as I need. When I add the E-O1 with it’s boost sensor, I can retard timing with boost. So I will be able to keep stock timing with normal driving, and the timing will retard up to 6* when I hit full boost. This should allow very good drivability when the car is not boosting
There is very little prep work you have to do to the harnesses before you start to work on the car. If you buy both the Ignition and the Injector harnesses, they come to you disassembled. You have to determine which wires you need and insert them into the correct slot in the plug. On the Ignition harness, we need eight out of the twelve wires provided. The colors that we would use are Blue/White and Blue/Black (Coil #1), Orange/White and Orange/Black (Coil #2), Yellow/White and Yellow/Black (Coil #3), and Purple/White and Purple/Black (Coil #4). The wires that I DID NOT use were Pink/White, Pink/Black, Light Blue/White, and Light Blue/Black. I simply pulled these wires out of the sheathing and saved them. There wires are used on cars with more than four coils. Here is a picture of the assembled Ignition Harness.
