2009 Pilot Honda Music Link Installation Instructions
INSTALLATION
1. Make sure you have the anti-theft code for the audio system and the navigation system (if equipped).
2. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
Removing the vehicle parts
3. Shift the select knob to “D” position by pressing down on the shift lock stopper with the ignition key. Remove the left side center panel (eight clips and unplug the vehicle connectors).
4. Remove the right side center panel (ten clips and unplug the vehicle connector).
5. Move the front passenger’s seat all the way rearward.
6. Remove the passenger’s console cover (eight clips).
7. Remove the passenger’s side lower panel (three clips and two pins).
8. Remove the glove box (two bolts).
9. Remove the pocket (two self-tapping screws, four clips and unplug the vehicle connectors).
10. Remove the audio (four screws and unplug the vehicle connectors).
11. While pushing down on the retaining tab, pull out on the lock until you hear a click to release the vehicle connector.
12. Attach urethane tape to the Music Link harness at the indicated position.
13. Plug the Music Link harness connector into the adapter unit.
