• EGR SYSTEM: This manifold will accept stock EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) equipment. EGR systems are used on some 1972 and later model vehicles and only in some states. Check local laws for requirements. This manifold is street legal in California on pollution-controlled motor vehicles.

• MANIFOLD: (RPM range 1500-6500) Designed for 1986-95 Ford Mustangs with 5.0L V8, the Performer RPM 5.0 EFI manifold is primarily for nitrous and bracket racing applications. It uses the same base as the Performer 5.0 manifold but the upper plenum has shorter, larger runners for more power in the 5000+ rpm range. The upper and plenum cover are powder-coated light titanium gray, and can be purchased separately for those who already have #3821 manifold (#7125; upper plenum only). Our 70mm throttle body is recommended for most applications. 1994-95 Mustangs require Throttle Body Adapter #3835 and Adapter Kit #8025.

NOTE: Air valve location is 0.300″ higher and 0.500″ forward from stock.
• ACCESSORIES & INSTALLATION ITEMS: Major recommendations are listed below. However, due to the variety of years, makes and models to be covered, please review each part listed in the Installation Items section of the Edelbrock catalog to decide whether more items are required for your specific vehicle than are mentioned in these instructions.
• POWER PACKAGE: Edelbrock Performer RPM 5.0 manifolds are part of a Total Power Package System that can be completed with the use of dyno-matched Edelbrock/BBK throttle bodies, Edelbrock EGR spacers, Edelbrock Tubular Exhaust Systems and Cat-Back exhaust systems, and Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum cylinder heads.
• THROTTLE BODY RECOMMENDATIONS: If parts required for installation are unavailable locally, contact Edelbrock directly.
