1994 Cadillac Owners Manual
This booklet contains important information about the warranty coverage of the General Motors warranties covering your new Cadillac. Keep it with your vehicle and make it available to a Cadillac dealership if warranty work is needed. The booklet should remain with your vehicle when you sell it so future owners will have the information.
SHEET METAL COVERAGE
Sheet metal panels are covered against corrosion and rust-through as follows:
Corrosion: Body sheet metal panels are covered against rust due to corrosion for 4 years or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Rust-Through: Any body sheet metal panel that rust-through (an actual hole in the sheet metal) due to corrosion is covered for 6 years or 100,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
NOTE:
Cosmetic or surface corrosion resulting from stone chips or scratches in the paint, for example, is not included in sheet metal coverage.
TOWING

OBTAINING REPAIRS
To obtain Plan repairs, take your vehicle to a Cadillac dealership within the WARRANTY PERIOD and request the needed repairs or adjustments. A reasonable time must be allowed for the dealership to perform necessary repairs.
